What to pack for a paddle trip in Scotland?
Regardless if it’s a short or longer trip, make sure the relevant safety kit goes on the water with you. No matter if you are new or experienced paddler, you should have the means of calling for help on you, e.g. charged phone, vhf radio. My goes in the waterproof packaging in the pocket of the buoyancy aid.
